Message from President Gail Nash
The West Shore Arts Council celebrates all the outstanding artists, writers, musicians and artisans who contribute so much to cultural life on the West Shore and make it such a vibrant and exciting place in which to live.
The new year will see the publication of a brochure aimed at leading visitors in Emily Carr's footsteps to the sites at which she painted — a labour of love by past president Elaine Limbrick. We hope to continue the series of concerts previously presented by the Metchosin Community House, as well as present more films, talks and exhibitions of work by local artists.
If you reside in the West Shore and are not already a member, please consider joining us. The old phrases "the more, the merrier" and "you get out of something in proportion to what you put into it" still hold true.
