🎭 The Family Theatre Festival is coming to the Westshore for the first time on Saturday, June 16 at Belmont Secondary thanks to the support of presenting sponsor the West Shore Arts Council!

πŸ“’ Don't miss this awesome opportunity to experience dynamic theatre for the whole family! πŸ˜

⭐ Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People will be presenting "When the Sun Crosses the Line" at the festival at 11:00 AM. Touching, loving, and historical, this new work by Kaleidoscope's artistic director, Roderick Glanville, does not shy away from some tough questions. "I feel its important for us to understand the complex issues of what reconciliation really means to those that may be afraid to ask," Roderick explains. "Knowing our history changes our future. In our play, June, a thirteen year old girl, asks those though questions that are often the 'elephant in the room.'"

πŸ•š 11:00 AM: Kaleidoscope will present "When the Sun Crosses the Line." β˜€οΈ

πŸ•› 12:00 PM: A FREE performance by Victoria's famous duo Cam and Daisy, the loveably quiet clown and her musical pal! πŸ†“πŸ€‘🎸🎢

πŸ• 1:00 PM: The Story Theatre Company will present their classic collection of short pieces, "Off the Shelf," exciting stories that "jump" off the shelf! A troll guards his bridge, a circus comes to town, and someone keeps stealing the lion cubs' food. πŸŽͺ🦁

πŸ• 2:30 PM: Experience the wonder of magic with Paul Kilshaw! Children and adults alike enjoy the balloons, magic, and wonderment that he creates. πŸŽˆβœ¨
