This enthusiastic group of singers strive to bring diversified and interesting choral music to Sooke and the surrounding areas for their enjoyment. You can be assured you will always get something completely different from one concert series to the next. From the warmth and charm of the Winter Heart music this past winter session, the fun and amusing songs from the HITS! show in Spring of last year and the soaring soul-stirring classical music from the Classic Christmas show in December of 2017.
For the Spring 2019 series Artistic Director, Bruce Ruddell has chosen yet another totally different genre of music that will increase both the repertoire and ability of this 55 group of singers. The music this time covers rhythmic modern pop music from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton and Bruno Mars – this is going to be an exciting upbeat, toe-tapping show! The choir will be joined by talented collaborative pianist, Kathy Russell and multi-instrumentalist, Jeff Poynter.
This is definitely a show you shouldn’t miss.
