Bring literature to life through art! Members of the Arts & Culture Colwood Society invite you to view their imagined book covers created in their own special styles for this lively member’s show. During the show, we will feature two author readings. 

On Friday, July 11th from 6:30 to 8pm: Author Catherine Lang reads from her book “Embedded: The irreconcilable Nature of War, Loss and Consequence”, that documents her journey to honour her niece and Calgary Herald reporter Michelle Lang, who was killed while embedded with Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan in 2009. 

On Friday, July 18th from 6:30 to 8pm: William Porter reads from his memoir “Lost & Found”, which tells the story of his quixotic journey in the art world. It’s a nail biter, so hold onto your hat! No pre registration required for these readings, suggested donation $5. 

Opening Reception Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 1 to 3pm with an author reading.
